A Sunday Afternoon @ Shenton Way

Attended the first wedding from my career. It was held at M Hotel. Felt kinda lonely there but still kept myself entertained with the food. Haha. The chocolate mousse dessert was good. Despite the loneliness I still went with the purpose of a congratulatory gesture and to share his joy.

After I left the place, I decided to walk down Robinson's Road and take the train from Raffles Place instead of Tanjong Pagar (which was much nearer) to soak in the surroundings of Shenton Way - the bustling weekday town which turned into a rural one on a weekend afternoon (not taking into consideration the surrounding architectural landscape :))

Enjoyed the solitude. Every single eatery was closed.. it was quite a strange sight. But nonetheless I liked it. To enjoy that amount of space once in a while. Fantastic. Only to be disturbed by those hardworking workers, towards the end of my route, who were doing some repair/construction/building works to ensure that this business hub runs smoothly when operations begin on Monday. Applaud these people for their contributions, especially when it's a weekend.
