I'm HOME

Hiye Singapore! Am back to my house in Woodlands, back to my room with my queeny bed, display shelf, clothes with my wardrobe (no more luggage as a make-do wardrobe), etc. Things felt a little foreign. I'm real glad to be home... to be able to see my family, friends and this country again... but part of me misses the US where life was different. It was a dream that I relished.

My American venture cannot be put in words. 4 over months of experiences is hard to condense and the intensity of the feelings may have diminished. All in all... I'd say it was a good one. Had my fair share of highs and lows. Did things I never did before and may not have a chance to do again. Like white-water rafting, Rip Cord... something like bungee jumping but not as thrilling, etc. Will miss shopping in hypermarts in the wee hours of the morning. Miss the splendour of the views that nature provides. Miss communicating with some of the friendly internationals. And I will miss being 'independent'.

I'm also scared though. Afraid that some of the friendships that were built will be slowly forgotten with time.

Guess I'll need some time to get use to life here in Singapore again. In the meantime, I'll be resting for at least a week before I start picking up from where I left and find a real job.

Hi Again Asia

Just ended my maiden US voyage yesterday. Am back in Asia as of today... not in Singapore yet but in a few days time. My current location is Taipei. Miss my friends... and will see ya all soon! Miss me? hehe...
