Got it!

Before delving straight into what I got... just to mention, my blog has just clocked it's 100th posting. :D

And yup, I've finally purchased the type of shoes I've been thinking of getting. It dates back to more than a year when I've wanted to get a pair of pvc pumps but apparently couldn't find something I really liked in terms of it's outlook. Then a few months later pvc shoes flooded the shops and streets so I started to wonder if I should really get it coz' it's become very common. But being the fickle minded shopper, I thought a pair of pvc pumps in the colour red will look outstanding.. it'll be the perfect accessory for black outfits giving a classy look or a chic look when donned with plain looking berms/shorts/capri. So the once flailing intention to get the shoes was up again. And yes!... I finally bought the pair of red pvc pumps, not to forget a must have with it - red stems! It so hard to find one pair with the stems in red too... so even if the shoes were a size or half too big, they were bagged! Heyo 'Goodest Friend', I can join you in wearing red shoes! ;p

Tanglin Village

I'm back to post an entry on a beautiful good friday evening out with 3 dear and lovely ladies of mine (hehe... possessive) - sophisticated Jiahui, sultry Simin and enchanting Wanling... would've posted a pic but am lazy to d/load the program. :p

We went to Tanglin village! One of the place I've wanted to go for some time but it kinda slipped my mind till the ladies gave me a wonderful list of places to celebrate my birthday. First stop was at PS cafe main courses comprised of some fusion food - had beef and mushroom ragout. Not too bad.. the beef chunks were tender. But what most of us enjoyed was some double chocolate cake (warm chocolate sponge with fudge) with ice-cream. Divine choice. As for the decor, it was pretty. My grouse will have to be the service... guess they were understaffed... and it was rather noisy. Noise and lush ambience don't really go hand in hand.

Next we adjourned to Oosh. Had some alcoholic drink.. which was seldom... but the company was too good to give it a miss. Ordered peach flavoured daiquiri.. hm.. still manageable. Had a taste of Simin's choco martini : not saying it's yucky but it just won't be on my personal list... a little overwhelming for me. Oosh's a cool hangout place ... not choked with smoke. If I do go again, will wanna try sitting at one of the 'little huts'.

Thanks TLV for the present. Been replaying the Phantom tracks.. "All I Ask of You" in particular. Nice!

Looking forward to the next girls' night out :D
